You cannot leave Morocco without some. Many spices have been imported to Morocco for thousands of years but there are some grown in Morocco, which you must take back with you.
Saffron grown in Tiliounine is particulary wonderful. The good Cumin grows in Sahara it is wildly fragrant you will only use a little. Paprika ( Hot and Regular ) will instantly bring back memories of Morocco when you use them. Golden Turmeric is a must to color and flavor any dish naturally. Although this may be difficult to carry, buy a Tagine, buy some spices and have culinary memories when you return home.
