    4 Days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech Itinerary

    Around 8:00 AM, your driver/guide will pick you up from the port or your hotel. The 4 Days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech begins northward, passing through the Rif Mountains, with visits to Tetouan and the picturesque town of Chefchaouen. In Chefchaouen, you’ll explore the charming old medina, known for its Spanish-style square, artisan shops, and cafés and restaurants, offering a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Afterward, the journey continues toward Fez, where you will spend the night in a hotel or riad.(B)

    On the second day, we will journey toward Merzouga, passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, often referred to as “Morocco’s Switzerland” due to its Alpine-style architecture and picturesque setting. Next, we’ll visit the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may spot Barbary apes along the roadside and have the chance to take some photos.

    Continuing through the stunning Atlas Mountains, you’ll wind through forested peaks, twisting mountain streams, and dramatic rock formations. We will then arrive in Midelt, where you can take a break for lunch (optional). From there, we’ll drive across the Ziz Valley, passing endless palm groves, the Tafilalt Oasis, and ancient fortified kasbahs before reaching Erfoud. The journey then continues to Merzouga, where you will embark on an unforgettable camel trek into the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes.

    The camel ride lasts approximately two hours, with a stop at the top of the dunes to admire a breathtaking sunset. You’ll also have the opportunity to try sandboarding (optional), soak in the panoramic views, and capture stunning photos. Upon arrival at the Sahara desert camp, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing glass of tea and have time to relax before dinner. In the evening, enjoy traditional Berber drumming, gaze at the star-filled sky, watch for shooting stars, and share stories and cultural exchanges around a campfire with local nomads. End the night with a restful sleep in a private desert tent.(D.B)

    On the third day of our 4 Days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech, you will wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After enjoying breakfast and a refreshing shower at the desert camp, we will return to Merzouga Village, either by camel ride or 4WD, depending on your preference.

    Next, we will drive to Rissani, where we’ll visit a fossil museum and take a walk through the traditional market. Continuing our journey, we will pass through several Berber and Arabic villages, including Mellab, Tinjdad, and Jourf. The latter is famous for its ancient irrigation system, and we will stop to explore this fascinating historical site. Lunch will be in Mellab or Tinjdad (optional).

    Our next stop is the stunning Todra Valley and Todra Gorges, where towering canyon walls reach heights of 300 meters. The gorges, shaped by the persistent flow of water through the rock, are a popular spot for climbing and hiking. Finally, we will head to Dades Gorge, where you will spend the night in a traditional riad, resting and preparing for the final leg of our journey.(D.B)

    On the fourth and final day of our 4 days Merzouga desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we will start the morning with breakfast overlooking the breathtaking views of Dades Gorge. Afterward, we will continue our journey toward Marrakech, passing through the Roses Valley and the Skoura Oasis, known for its lush palm groves.

    Our next stop will be in Ouarzazate, where we will visit the historic Kasbah of Taourirt. After a short drive of 27 km, we will reach the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a spectacular fortified village that has served as a filming location for numerous Hollywood movies, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia, and many more. The kasbahs (fortresses) beautifully showcase Moroccan architecture and culture. After exploring Ait Ben Haddou, we will continue our drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which offers stunning panoramic views. Finally, we will arrive in Marrakech, where our 4 days Sahara adventure from Tangier to Merzouga concludes.(B)
